Nature-based assets refer to ecosystems and natural processes such as forests, wetlands, mangroves, and biodiversity-rich areas that can be conserved, restored, or sustainably managed to mitigate climate change.
These assets form the foundation of our high-integrity carbon projects and are crucial for sustainable development, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation.
At Green Economy Partnership (GEP), we lead the design, development, and scaling of removal-based Nature-Based Solution (NBS) projects that align with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and the PACM (Paris Agreement Crediting Mechanism). Our projects focus on measurable carbon removal, habitat restoration, and long-term community co-benefits.
We work closely with host governments to ensure every project meets national decarbonization goals and contributes to the global net-zero target by 2050.
Restore degraded ecosystems
Support biodiversity conservation
Enable large-scale carbon sequestration
Drive sustainable community development
Build climate resilience in vulnerable regions
Many countries, especially those with hard-to-abate sectors, have legally binding commitments to reach net-zero emissions by 2050.
Nature-based projects offer an essential, lawful mechanism to offset residual emissions under Article 6. GEP ensures its projects are compliant, credible, and ready for international carbon markets.

All the projects in our portfolio are aligned with publicly endorsed methodologies under the aforementioned legislative environments, such as the Paris Agreement Creditig Mechanism (PACM), the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and eligible CORSIA/IMO methodologies and frameworks.
